Anyone else think domain registrars "steal"? Top
I do not think it is just me but does anyone else think that some domain registration companies steal good domain name ideas that people check but do not purchase? Although it has never affected me I bring it up because I was telling my dad not to even look up a domain name until he was ready to buy. He asked me "Why?" I told him I "imagine" (no proof just what I would do) that at every one of these companies their is a person dedicated to scooping up good domain name ideas that people look up but do not buy. It would only cost like $10 an hour to hire someone to sit their and filter through the names which could potentially be worth thousands. Maybe the good ones get put on a list to be registered in a few days if they have not already been? Even if they only get a small % of them I am always paranoid about it. But Im always high and paranoid :) Or maybe this is common knowledge and my worries were right all along?
