| Im a big time noob so please be gentle with me! I have been making money as a web designer for a few years now while trying to find a way of making EASY money. I have just started to implement this method and is going OK so far. Any ideas and improvements welcome. I built an eshop for a guy who had been selling car parts on ebay for over a year. He was selling maybe 1200 items at a time and had power seller status. His items were getting maybe 50-60k views per month and I wanted to know if we can bebefit from the traffic not just his sales. So I had him stick an attention grabbing title on the top of all his product description pages, something like "Learn how to cut your car running costs by 70%" and then have that link to his about me page. On his about me page talk a bit about the business and reccomend signing up for his ezine on his website for more hints tips and discount coupon offers. Im pretty good with graphics so i did some nice magazine cover images using quick 3d cover (g**gle to find the torrent for free) then put a banner on his home page which links to the ezine sign up page. Loads of killer content about the beniefts of signing up, monthly e-zine, exclusive discounts, hot off the press articles 12 issues etc all for only $12 for 12 months. they can subscribe using the paypal link or whatever. Now all i have to do is stick together a ezine once a month with articles ripped form other car mags, making sure I quote the source. (maximum 1 days work per month) I pitched the idea to customer where he benefits from additional sales through website which is more profitable to him, and he gets loyalty because he is keeping in touch with his existing customers etc. In return I keep all the subscription money for set up costs and monthly ezine publishing! Been advertising this for about 2 weeks on most of his products not all but got 48 sign ups just over $500 not too bad. If you find it usefull please give me a thanks. Thanks guys | |
