| Hey guys! So I'm pretty new to these forums and I've learned so many techniques and tactics already! Thanks so much! The first method that I've chosen to master is Craigslist! =D I've been posting everyday, testing, testing, testing, and surprise, surprise... my ads are being ghosted! And I can't figure out why! But I did figure that somebody on these forums would be able to help me! So here, I'll explain what I've done, in a short, clear and concise way =] IP Address: I live in Canada and use Telus' ADSL. I learned how to change my IP address, and I have been for every post. Emails: I have 10 gmail accounts (all created with one IP), and have 9 of them forwarded to my main one. Today, I used a gmail account that I've NEVER used to post before, yet my ad still got ghosted... Category: I'm posting in the "For Sale" Section under "Electronics". This are doesn't need PVAs, so that's cool. Title: I use 3 titles, rotating every time. Today, I used a unique title today that I've NEVER used in an ad before... yet I still got ghosted. (I change the title by 1 character) Ad body: I use pictures for my ads. So what I've done to make sure my ads are unique, is use plenty of folders within photobucket. So I have my photobucket account, and I have 10 folders. Inside each of those folders is another folder, and inside each of those folders is another folder. And finally inside that folder is my picture. I do this to make sure my URLs are different. Today, I posted an ad with a URL that I've NEVER used before... yet I still got ghosted. Conclusion: I'm confused! Haha, I used a new IP Address, I new email, a new title, and a new ad body... yet my ad still got ghosted. And yes, I did wait 15 minutes before checking if my ad was posted... and it's not. Any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!! | |
