| Craigslist Question? | Top |
| Alright so this is my first post so I'm prepared for the flames. But I am VERY interested in getting involved with marketing on Craigslist, it seems like a good way to build some capital for future AM projects. What I don't get is what is the difference between a craigslist "ad" and just a posting a redirected link to your offer and pre-selling it a little within the craigslist post. Maybe someone can clarify this for me. If that sticky above is step 1, I'm at step -2. | |

| Gmail Extraction (4 Free) on a Mac | Top |
| i know there are a few mac users out there trying to figure out a way to extract all the email addresses from gmail . Well i found a way to do it for free. 1. Enable pop3 on your gmail account 2. Setup .Mail (the built-in free Mac mail program) to accept your gmail emails. 3. Install this free script http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/9178 called Mail Scripts 2.9 4. Now go into .Mail and it should automatically load in all your gmail emalis. Select all the emails you wish to extract 5. On the top bar of your screen on the right there is a black scroll icon. click it and go to the bottom of the list and click Mail Scripts -> Add Addresses 6. Create a new folder and click "add". 7. Go back to the black scroll icon on the top bar of the screen. Click it and make your way to the bottom of the list where it says Address Book Scripts -> Export Addresses. Select your newly created group and your done! That should give you all your emails into a comma separated list, or tab delimited, or whatever else options it has. It's really alot easier than it sounds. No more than 5 minutes of work. There are options for clearing duplicate emails too. I hope this helps some people who are running on Mac's. | |
